Sinking stone

In this series called "Sinking stone" i introduced some pictures i realized in the city of Venice.
I was inspired by the Baroque theater with a constant reference to the concept of Vanitas.
There are "petrified" people (picture 1,2 and 4): Medusa had the ability to petrify anyone who crossed her eyes (reference to Caravaggio), a girl with lipstick and an apple in her hand (picture 3) (reference to the concept of Vanitas), a woman in a pose that recalls the representation of the Pietà by Bernini (picture 5) and, finally, a drapery (picture 6) with reference to the Veronese.
