Climbing is my passion, i love what i do. For me it is like dancing on rocks.
I experience how people put a lot of ego in their performance, this weakens the inner sense itself, at least for me.
i have done a few projects in sport climbing photography.
Beeing on Kalymnos i wanted to do something else.
Everybody goes to the famous Grande Grotta to take nice shots. which are easy to take.
I wanted to change the scene.
So we took a hairdryer to climb. Sounds fun is fun and I've got some fun shots.
For me however it is a serious and sarcastic piece of work.
i want to express how driven we are by our mind and ego, which constantly forces us to think, to compare, to doubt, to fear.
As climbing itself for me is a meditative state where i can focus on just being in the present, as the present is the biggest present we have.
Blow away your thoughts. BE and feel the silence and power of you inner self.
