Yaowang, 94 years, of the Tribe 'of Konyak. One of the last "Head Hunters", from Nagaland, a remote region in the north east of India.
Portrait in her hut in the village of Hongpoi, at the border with Myanmar, with the typical "Dao", their inseparable knife, is one of the last witnesses of a cultural tradition that will probably disappear in the next 10 years. are very few the Konyak remained tattooed in face, guardian of the head hunter's days, when this hunters and warriors, in clashes between tribes and villages, beheaded their enemies and carried away their heads as trophies of war
