Forgotten Kitchen

The Serie was taken in 2014. It is a composing of existing, old and forgotten places across the ruhrgebiet in germany (a lot of old industrie buildings) and some nice and clean kitchens photographed in a kitchen store.
i found it really interesting to combine these two topics together.
It almost seems like the kitchens are so perfectly build, that they will overlive even a building.
The contrast between new, modern products and the lost, forgotten places they stand in is kind of irritating for the viewer and triggers his interest.
