We live like mechanics, mechanically, immersed in our issues, in the run-up to running, breathing short, just as necessary to live. The proposal of this research is to investigate ourselves, in the depths, in our intimate, inner journey, self-reflection, to think instantly through dream dreams.
With BIANCO DESERTO, I propose a project that is the natural evolution in the search for new elements to be approached in photography. In the series, photographic documentation blends with the natural element, through field depth and space processing, propose an alternative dialogue between form and content. Through post-production work, I explore the boundaries between the media, by elaborating the landscapes captured by the lens.
The search for the fragmentation of light, shapes, and perspective sets every shot as a glimpse at the instinctual moment but above all reflective. In the series there is a dialogue between the visible and the invisible, between the phenomenon and the image. The matter today connotes landscapes that present situations threatened by cementation to the desertification of the natural territory, such as cementing human feelings, indifference to the surrounding world.
This addition process that is accomplished through brush strokes on the photo underlines a content-based and shaping of shapes. With the use of non-color white and achromatic, a neutral landscape image is proposed to allow for reflection, as today's reality in which we live is too overwhelmed by information, images and chaotic contents. Through the variations of white, we propose a different perspective, re-evaluating every element that builds the landscape and our intimacy, the need for peace, of peace, to be able to return to thinking of autonomous,on free form.
