Harvey turned Texans’ lives upside down not just human, but animal too. It delivered non-stopping rainfall that ruined countless animal ecosystems in Texas. They just have nowhere to go. There are plenty human shelters but none available for animal. In a way, those suffering animal took a way bigger hit than we ever did. I followed and witnessed this deer. He was swimming around one place in 30 minutes before finding another direction to follow with an attempt to get out of the flood. I was heavily thrilled to just think of the desperation he was facing at that specific moment.
