Power and beauty of nature

In the south of Tenerife, there is this area with narrow roads with dangerous curves and tall mountains. Among these mountains, there is an area called Masca, an area that used to be a pirate's hide out. The coast lies down the 600 meters cliffs. Nowadays some hippies live there in the village and some of them enjoy their quiet peaceful life rather in caves hidden in these mountains. I liked to play with the perspective in this image that shows the houses in the foreground even insignificant comparing to the rock far behind. It's a simple demonstration of beauty and power of nature.
Tamboly received his Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences in “Advertising, Printing & Publishing, the light photography section” in 2001, and a YAT diploma in graphic design in 2003. After graduation he began working as an event photographer for festivals, art projects, and events in Zürich, Switzerland. Tamboly held his first solo exhibition, “Motion and Silence,” at the Photo Cairo Festival in 2003. Later that year he received the “Certificate of vocational Achievements” from Al Mamoun International University in Damascus, Syria, for his achievements in photography.
Since 2002 Tamboly has been active in the art scene in Europe and worldwide, as he participated in different contests, solo and group exhibitions, salons and festivals. He enjoyed both working as a solo artist and cooperating with other artistsin group projects. His recent solo exhibitions include one titled “Timeless” in Leipzig in 2009, “Egypt-Faces” at the Academy of Arts in Berlin and the House of the World Cultures in 2011, and “Parallel Dimension” in Riogrande, Berlin in 2014.
Tamboly has also been actively collaborating with artists from other fields, such as fashion designers and musicians like the Beatsteaks, Papa Roach, Kreator, The Bones and more.
Since 2002 Tamboly participated in numerous contests, group exhibitions, salons, festivals and biennales around the globe and co-operates and work with various artists, fashion designers, ventures and organisations in Europe and worldwide.
In challenging the sharp division between art and design, Tamboly is devoted to bridging the gap between the two, especially, to exploring the potential utility of an artwork. With his photography.

Tamboly recieved his first camera as a child, his eagerness to photography grew up through experimentation and surveyance.
