Receding waves amidst a vibrant and misty sunrise captured at Cape Kiwanda.
In this beautiful morning, I was trying to get some big wave action as foreground on some wet rocks near the edge of the ocean. I was there waiting for like 20 minutes, then there was a big wave coming. I pressed down the shutter button, after about a second, This huge rogue wave hit on me. I didn't expect this kind of big wave. I felt like a high-speed car hitting on me, and my whole body was hit into the air, my feet were not standing on the rock. Then I immediately felt like under the bottom of the ocean. The Ocean’s fury slides and drags us along the slippery rocks that were covered with sharp mussels. I got several cut wounds in my butt, thigh, and hands. I lost my camera to the Ocean since the camera was completely useless after the wave hitting on me. It was a beautiful, and also violent morning that I will never forget.
