These photos are from my ongoing series of nocturnal photography, "In Nocturne". For the work, I take up an old sleeping pattern in which my overall sleep is divided into two segments with a wakeful period in between. During that period, I seek the alone-time to roam my surroundings to explore and exploit the serenity of the world around me. I take photos of (mostly) isolated buildings, or sections of buildings, in which I feel connections to my desires and feelings of bliss and solitude at those times of the night.
