This series of imagery celebrates femininity and maternity. The beauty of womanhood is described by comparing her with a flower, which has the same reproducing capability. The series honors a woman's ability, to create life within her by abstraction of various flowers. The imageries accentuate various shapes similar to a woman's body or her reproducing organs, created by abstraction of the flowers. The tints and shades of reds, make the viewers experience various emotions. A romantic approach is applied in the series, to find new meaning for being a woman like: strength, power, motherhood and passion.

About author:

I am a student of Media Arts department with major in Photography, at the Art Institute of Philadelphia. As a commercial and editorial photographer with specialization in portrait; fashion, family and corporate, I enjoy posing my subjects. I also find joy in still life for the meditative abstraction of color, and light in studio. In both my commercial and personal work, I create vibrant and ebullient imageries.
