Ruth and Isaac live in a slum in Lusaka, Zambia.
Isaac (behind) is Ruth's best friend. They play together, go to school together and he protects her when needed.
Albino children in Africa are often targeted because witch doctors say their bodies can cure diseases.
Adrian Kuipers (1983) started his creative career by founding his graphic design company in The Netherlands at the age 20 (2003). He always had his passion for other creative forms like music, film and photography. In 2010 his passion for photography resulted in a professional career and traveled the globe for international companies and organisations. He also worked with the likes of Robbie Williams, Afrojack and many Dutch celebrities.
It is his work for charity organizations which made him fall in love with the African continent and it’s children. His pictures for Orange Babies, not only shows the work of the organization, but also made over 100.000 Euros at the annual auctions. Obviously all of the profits went to the projects in Africa.
Adrian Kuipers’ photography focuses on real emotions from genuine people. Close, personal and with a subtle kind of storytelling that sticks to the viewers’ mind and opens their imagination.
