Each season in the forest has its distinct character. The inner evolution of trees, being in resonance with weather, temperature and light creates specific pattern of shapes, colors and mood. I tried to capture these seasonal patterns in the image series, taken in the forests of Little Carpathian mountains nearby Bratislava city (Slovakia).

About author:
Born and living in Bratislava (Slovakia), Dusan Chorvat studied biophysics up to Ph.D degree at Comenius University in Bratislava. In his job as laser scientist he uses light as a tool to study living organisms and modern materials in the field of photonics. Being an imaging specialist, Dusan always shown natural interest for photography which turned into his passion since 2013. In his work he focuses mostly on nature, landscape and panoramic photography, as well as on low-light, stopped-motion and timelapse techniques.BACK TO GALLERY
