This photo was taken in Playa Tarará, La Habana, Cuba at 5:30 pm. I was going to the beach with my family. It was really hot. I saw people playing squash. Oh my God I thought! How can they manage!!! The colors were really bright and I was attracted by the shadows.

I was born in 1969 between the flatland and the hills of Emilia region in northern Italy. I have a PhD in Veterinary Science from University of Turin and a BA and Master's Degree in Cultural Anthropology from Alma Mater Studiorum - University of Bologna. I'm married with Alessandra and we have a fantastic child called Liang. I really love photography I think it is the best way to remember things that will never be the same as they were in that exact moment. My hobbies and interests are: travelling, anthropology, photography, American literature and Jazz music.
