People: Street (AMATEUR) - HONORABLE MENTION

Observing people, I often wonder what they are doing, or thinking, what they carry in their heart, which dreams they harbour inside.
A young boy with his sheep, looking far away; Grandpa seems to be supporting him, he appears lucky. Their house is behind them.
A man with his face covered, mysterious, advances in the middle of the village awakening in the early morning light. Where is he going?
A boy playing with a wheel: the last light of the day, people return home, a child plays with a wheel. We had just finished a workshop session, my students had already came back to the hotel, I was meandering around the town and I took the best picture of the day.
I was in Harar and during a tour early in the morning, I met some people sleeping in the street. A few minutes after they began to walk again.
After many years of high level medical profession, I want to give some dedication to my artistic path, through photography and my humanistic interests.
I have a great passion for the traditions of people and for the anthropological aspects of world populations.
People, completely sponthaneous, natural and unaffected by the photographer, are the centre of my artistic research.
I started proposing my images at international competitions and on social media networks in June 2016. In 2017 some of my images were selected as finalists in International awards like SIPA contest and Mario Dondero Prize and were published on Street View Photography, Photographic Mercadillo, Photographize Monochrome, The Monochromatic Lens, Full Frame All In Your Head, BW Street Reportage, TheSpiritofArt and many other networks.
I am presently Editor of Snapgle (www.snapgle.com).
I collaborate with numerous musicians for CD covers and for pictures-music-poetry performances. In the last years I exposed my pictures in some personal exhibitions in Italy.
