This series comprises of a collection of landscape/outdoors photographs focused on the Great Lakes surf scene in Canada. This photographs were taken over the whole year of 2016 (including the winter!) on Lake Erie, Lake Ontario and Lake Superior.
Through photography, I attempt to translate the energy found in nature. In the past year, my work has primarily focused on the subject of Great Lake surfing scene and its community.

My name is Ryan Osman. I am a photographer that recently established myself in Guelph, Ontario, Canada. I grew up on the beautiful island of Mauritius (located East of Madagascar, in the Indian Ocean) and moved to Canada in 2011 to start an environmental engineering degree.Through photography, I attempt to translate the energy found in nature. In the past year, my work has primarily focused on the subject of Great Lake surfing scene and its community.
