Giovanni (93) and Milena (87): my parents.
In July 2017 Giovanni has a cardiac pressure crisis: he spend just a night at the hospital but he comes home very tired, without energy and no longer able to take care of his wife who suffers from Alzheimer's Disease.
During almost two month I spent taking care of them for all their needs without I could neglect my job, I took several pictures to documenting that period of our life toghether again. Those days were really hard and strenuous, but I am proud for being the person they can count on.

About author:

From 2001 to 2015 he travels regularly choosing Africa as preferred destination and documentig its ethnographic/naturalistic aspects.
In the last years he attended some photographic workshops held by internationally well-known italian photographers.
Since the end of 2016 he is developing different long-term projects regarding strictly topical issue
