Poland, Laski. In XXI blinds still struggle limitations in access to information, education, employment and social activities or public places. In regular schools blind children are not only mocked and rejected by sighted children but also teachers don't have proper approach or time and prefer excuse blind pupils from classes. As a result blind kids feel alienated and lack essential education that enables them later to live independently amongst their family, work environment and in a society of sighted people. However there is a unique place in Poland. In Polish word ‘LASKI’ states for ‘the canes’ that blind people use but accidentally also for the name of the village where there is the Educational Centre for Blinds. Nuns live on the campus and take care of children together with secular persons.  There are kindergarten, primary school, high school, technical college, chapel and dormitories. 2017
