This was taken in the Spring of '17 on Tresco, Isles of Scilly. I was on holiday and it was a misty moody day. I was also experimenting with long exposure minimalist mono compositions and thought this image worked well. I like the outcrop on the left (the island of Bryher) reaching to the Tresco outcrop with the remains of Cromwell's Castle.

About author:
A keen amateur. Outdoor photography is my thing but I like minimalism with a bias to mono. I am lucky in that i get to travel a lot through work so many of my images are from places far from home. Increasingly I am exploring more abstract images but when a nice sunset beckons, particularly if I am on the coast, well then I can't help myself! I shot with a Canon 5DSR but also increasingly use Fuji X-Pro2 when travelling.BACK TO GALLERY
