I am a dreamer

"I am a Dreamer" is a project inspired by a metaphor of life, a metaphor of growth, watching the world with the eyes of a kids contemplating the nature and contemplating the future. The desire of play whit dreams . The kids contemplate the world with the eyes of fantasy imagining characters and identifying in them as they do with life, so a balloon turns into a person and is ready to fly, as society impose to grow with the brain in box, or forces us to wear masks, express fears and dreams of growing and discovering the world through personal and creative experience with sense of humor and playful, yet surreal and also with inspiration to fairy tales.
She has achieved international recognitions and most of her works are been published in different Magazine and Book worldwide such Adore Noir, Blur Magazine, MonoVisions, Immagini Fotopratica, Square Mag, Progresso Fotografico.
Her work has been exhibited in New York, Paris, Cannes, Marsille, Rome, Athens, Santorini island, Mykonos.
Her passion about art and photography started at the age of 14 using an analog camera with film and printing in the darkroom.
She developed her own style by focusing on landscape photography and conceptual portrait. Carmelita work captures silent moments, as a pictorial poems. Her particular style is surrealistic and dreamlike, she tries to convey a quiet stillness of emotion with a contemplation to the natural surroundings creating stories that combine nature and the human figure in a poetic and unique vision.

Carmelita Iezzi is a freelance photographer and graphic designer based in Italy.
