Unusual and bizarre situations like this just happen unexpectedly in a fraction of a second. I had loads of luck to be in a great position and having the right settings on my camera to freeze this African darter bird that was coming back from a dive with a fish, throwing it in the air to swallow it. Photo was taken in Madikwe, Northern South Africa.
