The series aim to communicate the plight of acid attack survivors and the journey of their lives, in terms of coping up & regaining the lost hope. It is dedicated to salute the heroic efforts and the determination with which they strive at transforming their lives for better against all odds. The series is a glance through some of the major emotional stages of their lives. From being devastated to becoming self-assured and from wreckage to happiness. The series represents their ‘emotional’ journey.
It is the dreaded pain of Acid Attack (done as revenge or intimidation, usually one sided love) which engulfs them and fills them with hatred & unacceptability of themselves and everyone around them. It takes valour to fight the isolation which impacts them to the extent that they might garner the practice of veiling themselves to avoid the world and the inconveniences which they might end up facing. It is our duty as humans, as their friends and family to support them in their fight, with their own-selves.
Meditation is one such tool which has the potential to change their perspective towards life & help them connect with the unchanging person in themselves. The love & care they receive from their surroundings also plays a great role in instilling confidence and reassurance in them.
It is not an easy journey and might even take years, but what holds value is their willingness to strive for it and to reignite the life force and the enthusiasm to live.

The series is a compilation of pictures of various survivors emoting different emotions experienced at different phases of their lives after the attack. It is a step towards spreading awareness about such unpardonable acts of these attackers, also about the non acceptance of the victims in the society.
