This photo was taken on a winter night in a mountainous region near the city of São Paulo (Brazil). It was a cold night where the fog was covering everything up and greatly limiting the vision, but there was a lamp post behind the tree that, due to dense fog and the long exposure technique used, resulting in this surprising picture where it seems that the tree is shining, as if an blast of light were happening from the center of the tree.

I am a brazilian Photographer and take pictures just started as a hobby for me, but it was through the photo that I found a way to be more present, and consequently get to appreciate more fully what that specific moment has to offer. It is striking how to focus on an object at the click of the camera brings me a real sense of fullness and satisfaction.
Despite living in São Paulo, the largest city in Brazil, I really enjoy to travel (like most people I know), and whenever I can I get my camera I leave my city to be closer to nature and experience different places, so I do not miss the chance to register those moments and discover the inspiration it has to offer.
