This body of work, Evidence of My (Mal)Adjustment, is about depression and the effects of the illness. For half of my life, I have struggled with depression, and last year was the worst I've ever experienced. By using photography to deal with, and work through, difficult emotions, I hope to help others suffering from depression by letting them know they are not alone. I want to give a voice to those who feel they cannot talk about their mental illness and raise awareness about the disorder.
