I went all of the way to Northwestern Vietnam to shoot this beautiful photograph. Just to give you an idea of how far I was, I walked for about two hours down a very wooded path to reach my destination. This photograph is of a young mother and child in the H'mong ethnic group. What I find very interesting about the mother is that she is 18 years old and has never been photographed before. I begin to shoot her photograph and the pictures did not turn out very well because she was shy at first. After I spent some time with her and her family she began to warm up to me and the thought of being photographed. After that I was able to shoot a series of beautiful pictures of her. Here is a beautiful picture that I was able to capture. Henry Nguyen
