Geometridae

The Geometridae series is the result of walking around Europe's capital cities and their modern architecture, contemplating the interaction between colliding building surfaces and daylight, and finally revealing a relationship that I call love triangles. Putting my biggest effort in composition, I tried to identify geometric patterns where not only volumes but color take a big part, giving a taste of reality, yet offering the possibility of free interpretation of the photograph.
This project was developed during the last months of my stay in Europe in 2016, after being granted a scholarship for artists to participate in an exchange program in the Academy of Media Arts Cologne, Germany. Once there, I had the chance to visit a lot of places in the search of a different perspective for my artistic work.
At this point I am finishing my studies in Graphic Design in the National University of Colombia. My main interest is the relationship between light and architecture, I look forward to capturing a series of abstract shots in which geometry and colors are the main subject.

I am a freelance photographer willing to travel around the world, during the last yeah I traveled around Europe after being granted a scholarship for artists to participate in an exchange program in the Academy of Media Arts Cologne, Germany.At this point I am finishing my studies in Graphic Design in the National University of Colombia.
