While on assignment in the Amazon rainforest. Photographing The Jungle Ultra Marathon.
A 275km race through the dense Amazon rainforest.
Athletes crossed water, climbed, waded through swamps etc.
I was positioned in the deep swamp, waiting for athletes to come through, where i captured them in full action, as they waded through the deep swamps.
I photographed with Elinchrom quads to light the subject in motion through the dark swamps.
Very dangerous - but lots of fun....
