Not so Alone

Peru, Ancash, Chacas. Among the mountains of the Cordillera of the Andes, at 3500/4500 meters above sea level, there are those who live in isolation, far more kilometers from the village 'neighbor, who for different reasons have found themselves alone, helpless, sick and forgotten by the world. Their families often have moved in large cities and the children and the younger generation have gone away in search of fortune. Now they no longer have 'the strength, to walking to arrive in the near village. Some of them do not even speak Spanish but only Quechua, the 'ancient language of the Incas.
The only support they have is by a group of volunteer who bring once a week food and medicines, walking for hours to reach these isolated poor hut. These are the people that I met, their portraits, in their little hut, whit the natural lights, people forgotten almost by all, alone, but no fortunately not so alone
