In a land of volcanoes

The already fantastic landscape of Lanzarote is added the change given by the locals for wine aging in arid but mineral-rich land. Called the Geria see spectacular views of vineyards buried and surrounded by land and volcanic stones to protect the warm air that burned. Some examples of Phoenix canadensis, a palm large and lonely it does not produce offspring completes this spectacular landscape bird's eye view becomes more prominence. The area was protected by Law 12/1987, of June 19, Declaration of Canary Island Natural Areas Natural Park of La Geria and reclassified by Law 12/1994 of 19 December on the Canary Island Natural Areas. It has also been declared a Special Protection Area (SPA). It also includes the natural monument of the Cave of the Naturalists, a natural volcanic tube of great dimensions.

El fotógrafo más premiado de España en competiciones internacionales. Francisco Mingorance se dedica a la fotografía de naturaleza de forma profesional desde hace más de tres décadas. Muchos de estos trabajos han sido reconocidos con diferentes galardones no solo en España sino en el resto del mundo, solo en los últimos cinco años Francisco Mingorance ha obtenido más de 200 premios internacionales incluidos cuatro en el Veolia Environnement Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2010 y cuatro en el Windland Smith Rice International Awards 2010 siendo el fotógrafo más premiado de ambas ediciones.
