The images of the series Faces of Tuberculosis show people at an advanced stage of their multiresistant tubercolosis disease. Because of the treatment, that often lasts for several years and has extreme side effects, the Howrah Tuberculosis Hospital in a poor district of Kalkutta becomes their new home. Due to their physical and mental state, they turn into prisoners of the hospital rooms and their own bodies.
