The work was carried out in the municipality of Novi Beograd in the city of Belgrade. New Belgrade was built just after the Second World War at the behest of Titus, his intent was to show the rebirth of Yugoslavia after the barbarity of war. Hundreds of thousands of volunteers flocked from all over the republic to complete the project. After tens of years, very little remains of the magnificence of the project but the memory of his idea.
