My enduring memory of a visit to the Greek Islands last year is of cats and chapels. This is an image of the interior of one of those chapels, and a day later I found the cat I was looking for. The cats are glaring threateningly at a creature that does not share their faith, and which sees the need for a strategic withdrawal. It is, of course, an allegory.

About author:
Because he cannot draw or paint, Michael uses photography as a medium for creating art. Two years part time at the Photography Studies College of Melbourne, Australia, gave him a grounding in the principles and elements of art, camera craft, Photoshop and creative photography. Michael has only recently started submitting images to competitions, and has had several accepted by the Sydney International Photography Exhibition 2015 and Better Photography Magazine's Creative Flair Top 50 for 2015.
