On the 22nd September 2015, Hadeel al-Hashlamon, an 18-year-old Palestinian student, was shot dead by Israeli forces at a checkpoint in the city of Hebron, in West Bank (Palestine). This sequence of photos was taken by the photographer, who was working for an human rights organization, and was at the scene at the exact moment when the incident happened. The photos show the "before, during and after". After the execution, the soldiers alleged that the victim tried to stab them with a knife, but the eyewitnesses said there was no knife at the scene. The investigation concluded that she could have been arrested while she was lying on the ground, but the soldiers continued to spray her with bullets.
