Last year I took part in a yacht rally in the Greek Cyclades islands. I took several images of yachts using movement blur, with interesting variations in results depending on time of day, direction of the sun, and the backgrounds. This image was taken shooting away from the sun, with no islands in the background. The hulls of the yachts were not captured, however the stylised shapes of the sails strongly suggests the nature of the subject matter.
